QUICK GUIDE
Moulding Impression Kit
- Set out the contents of your kit on a clean, flat surface.
- Begin by mixing the blue putty with the white putty.
- Knead the two putties together for around 20 seconds, or until the colour is completely uniform, with no streaks or marbling.
- Once mixed, roll the putty into a ball and place it onto a flat surface. I like to use the lid from one of the putty pots.
- It helps if your dog is calm and relaxed, and don’t forget to have a few treats ready.
- Gently hold your dog’s muzzle steady and press the putty evenly against the nose to take the impression. Avoid pressing the putty into the nostrils.
- You may find it easier to take the impression when your dog is tired or resting.
- Check the finished impression to make sure you’re happy with the result, then set it aside to cure fully.

FAQ
Can I use the kit straight away, or can I save it?
The unused impression putty is suitable for use for up to 12 months from delivery. Once the two parts have been mixed together, you'll need to take your impression immediately as the putty begins to cure within minutes.
My kit won't get to me in time, what can I do?

We’re always here to support you during this time.
Is the putty safe?
Yes. The silicone impression putty is non-toxic, skin-safe and pet-safe. It has been carefully selected to safely capture fingerprints and paw/nose impressions.
How many impressions can I take?
Each kit contains enough material to create two impressions. You can use this for a second attempt, two different pets, two fingerprints, or one of each.
If you think you may need more putty, you can purchase additional putty to accompany this kit here. Please note that the additional moulding kit includes one set of putty ONLY, and not the instructions, gift box, return postage, and cannot be redeemed against the price of your impression piece.
I've never done this before. Will I be able to take a good impression?
Absolutely. No previous experience is needed. Every kit includes detailed printed instructions, along with access to an online guide featuring helpful tips and demonstration videos to guide you through the process. And if you need any further help or encouragement, please don't hesitate to get in touch!
What if I don't want to order the jewellery yet?
That's exactly what this kit is designed for. Many customers prefer to capture their impression first and decide on their jewellery at a later date. Your finished mould can be safely stored until you're ready.
Is the cost of the kit deducted from my jewellery order?
Yes. Your kit includes a unique discount code that refunds the full cost of the Impression Kit (excluding postage) when you purchase a piece from my Impression Collection.
Once you've placed your jewellery order using your refund code, you'll receive a prepaid Royal Mail postage label by email. Simply package your impression securely and send it back to me.
