FAQ
Can you make a double fingerprint ring?
Sometimes! Whether two fingerprints can be added to one ring depends on the design and the space available. Some styles, such as the heart-shaped signet ring, work particularly well for this. If you’re unsure, please get in touch before ordering and we’ll be happy to advise.
How to order:
- Select the “Mould Impression Kit” option when ordering your ring.
- Add an additional moulding kit to your order before checkout.
When returning your kits, please:
- Label each completed impression with your loved ones’ names.
- Include a note on your order slip confirming you would like two fingerprints added to your ring, along with your preferred positioning (for example: left and right placement).
There is no additional charge for adding two prints, aside from the cost of the extra moulding kit.
If you have any questions before ordering, please feel free to get in touch, we’re always happy to help.

When will I receive my finished piece?
Once we receive your pet’s impression kit back in the studio, your piece will be carefully handcrafted.
- Most pieces are completed within 3 weeks from the date we receive your impression
Does engraving affect the timeframe?
Yes — if your piece includes engraving, please allow additional time:
- Engraved pieces typically require an extra 2–3 weeks before dispatch
When does the timeframe start?
Your production time begins once we receive your completed impression kit, not from the date of purchase.
Please note

If you require your piece by a certain date, please get in touch prior to placing your order. We can sometimes accommodate your request.

We’re always here to support you during this time.
Can I get a fingerprint ring of my baby?
Yes, however, please note that babies under around 6-12 months old typically will not have fully developed fingerprint definition yet.
You are very welcome to still order, but it is unlikely that the impression (and therefore the finished ring) will capture detailed fingerprint lines at this age.
Instead, the piece will usually capture the unique shape and size of your baby’s finger, creating a meaningful keepsake even without visible fingerprint detail.
Fingerprint detail & age
Similarly, some elderly people naturally lose fingerprint definition over time, which can also affect the amount of detail captured in the final piece.
We recommend testing first
If you’re unsure whether enough detail will show, you may wish to test the fingerprint beforehand using:
- Ink and paper
- A piece of clear tape (such as Sellotape)
This can help give an idea of how visible the fingerprint lines are before taking the impression.
