Impression Kit Types
Not sure which impression kit to choose?
Not to worry, here is an explanation of both the wax and moulding impression kits, plus some pros and cons of each to help you decide.
The Boop Collection
Below are examples of pet nose prints created using the wax impression kit. As well as your pet’s nose print being totally unique to your furry companion, each wax impression created by you will vary in width, thickness and shape.
These examples feature pet nose print necklaces made with our moulding kit, which allows for a smoother, more consistent finish. Each pendant is carefully shaped from your mould, giving you the flexibility to request custom details and styling.
FAQ
I ordered the moulding impression kit, but my impressions aren’t good enough. Can I exchange it for a wax kit?
The moulding kit is unfortunately non-refundable once the putty has been used. If you would like a wax kit instead, you can purchase one for an additional cost.
I’ve taken a mould of my pet’s nose, but I can’t see the shape properly. Will this be good enough?
Yes, absolutely! My impression pieces are designed to showcase your pet’s nose or paw print texture, not the outline. As long as you can see some texture on the mould, I will be able to create your piece. If you are at all unsure about whether your mould is good enough, send an image to info@rubytynanjewellery.co.uk and I can let you know.
I’ve lost my impression pendant, can you make me a new one?
The answer to this depends on which kit you purchased. If you purchased the wax kit, I am unfortunately not able to recreate your pendant. However, if you purchased the mould kit, and you still have your mould, I can recreate your pendant for you.
